This summer the Camp for Climate Action will pitch its tents outside Kingsnorth coal-fired power station in Kent for a week of direct action, education and sustainable living. Together, we will show that the blind pursuit of economic growth at any cost is simply insane, and is to blame for the CO emissions and ecosystem destruction that are causing catastrophic climate change.

26th July - 3rd Aug - Climate caravan from Heathrow to Kingsnorth. Travel by feet, wheels and water and say no to the expansion of fossil fuels on the way.

6th Aug - Agrofuels Day of Action: squashing the agrofuel industry before it sprouts!

9th Aug - Day of Action at the power station.

Want to do something to stop our planet from getting trashed?

Earth First! is a network of people and campaigns who fight ecological destruction and the motivating forces behind it. We believe in doing it ourselves rather than relying on governments or industry. Direct action is at the heart of it, whether you're standing in front of a bulldozer, shutting down an open-cast mine or ripping up a field of GM crops.

Join us for 5 days of workshops, networking and planning actions. The gathering is also a practical example of low-impact eco-living and non-hierarchical organising and of course a place to have a lot of fun too!
